With the new Facebook Timeline format, the images you use on your Facebook page are becoming more important.  Every Facebook page now has a “cover photo”, in addition to your profile picture, that runs across the top of your page.  What a great opportunity to show what you are all about in an eye catching photo!  Because this feature stands out, it is very important that you give some thought to what you are trying to convey.  Are you an expert in a particular neighborhood?  Upload a good photo of that neighborhood.  Do you specialize in military buyers?  Upload a photo that speaks to that demographic.

The process is simple:

• Go to your timeline
• Click “Add Cover”
• Choose whether you want to upload a new photo orchoose a photo from one of your existing photo albums
• Once you choose a photo, you can reposition it by clicking on the image and dragging it up or down
• Click “Save”

(please note, your cover needs to be at least 720 pixels wide)

This is your chance to control the first impression of your page!
