A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words ~ What are You Saying?

At Liz Moore and Associates, we recognize that the images we use to market your home have a big impact…they can mean the difference between a prospective buyer deciding to take a look – or, not.

Lighting, perspective and an eye for the details that can make the difference – all these things are key to insuring an extraordinary visual representation of your home’s nest features.

Professional photography – just another way we’re reinventing real estate.

Welcome Donae Henricks, our new Marketing Guru!

We are pleased to introduce Donae Hendricks to our Marketing Team.  Donae brings a fresh perspective and creativity, along with over a decade of experience, to her new role as Marketing Coordinator.

Donae grew up and attended college in the Midwest, where she studied Graphic Communications.  She and her husband Ben fell in love with Williamsburg during a trip to the area.  They decided to escape the harsh winters and make it their home in 2006.  Since the move, Donae has worked as a Marketing Coordinator for local real estate brokerage MrcCardle Realty, and as a Graphic Designer at the Virginia Gazette.  In her free time, she enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with her family.  You may also see her on walks in Colonial Williamsburg with her Papillion, Mason.

I am just thrilled to have someone with Donae’s talent and experience on board to help us continue to deliver innovative marketing to our Williamsburg clients!  “The freedom at Liz Moore to open your imagination to create new and exciting concepts is amazing,” says Donae.  “It’s the positive energy and spirit of cooperation that makes me know there is no better place to put my talents to the test to deliver marketing that really produces results!”

Twilight Photography

One of the greatest marketing challenges that we face as REALTORS is how to make our inventory stand out among the sea of available homes for sale.  At Liz Moore & Associates, we are continually striving for ways to showcase our listings, and show off their best features.  Photography can be challenging this time of year, when the lawns aren’t lush and the flowering shrubs haven’t begun to poke their heads out yet.

Dulcie Holland, our photographer, has recently come up with a brilliant solution to make our listings pop:  twilight photography.  In a nutshell, she photographs the home at just the right time at dusk, with all the interior lights on and carefully selected exposure settings on her equipment, and the effect is spectacular.

Photography is more important than ever, now that 96+% of prospective homebuyers are searching online, and whether or not a photo is compelling could mean the difference in whether or not a listing is shown and/or a buyer is interested.

Twilight photography…just one more way that Liz Moore & Associates is differentiating our inventory!

At a Loss for Words?

Be the first to comment on this post

There is a big difference between a house and a home, and understanding that difference – and, more importantly, being able to communicate it to prospective buyers – is what separates outstanding agents from average agents.  Using Dynamic ad copy on your marketing materials is a great way to differentiate one home from another.  We understand that you often get “writer’s block”, so we have just the solution!  Marketing has put together a book of ad copy ideas titled “Every Home Has a Story”.  Refer back  to this next time you are writing copy for your listings and you’ll never be at a loss for words again!
